Shanghai Veetsan Commercial Machinery Co. Ltd., one of the largest manufacturers of professional dishwashers in China has been acquired by Electrolux Professional Group since February 2015, as part of its strategy to further accelerate growth in the professional segment.

The Electrolux Professional Group is one of the leading global providers of food service, beverage, and laundry for professional users. The acquisition further strengthens Electrolux Professional’s position in China and the Asia Pacific region, where the company sees potential for significant growth in the next few years.

“By acquiring Veetsan, we address growing demand in the region for solutions that can guarantee qualitative and hygienic results in line with international standards,” says Alberto Zanata, Head of Electrolux Professional.

Started in 2003, Veetsan has a well-established manufacturing, sales, distribution, and service network. The company has about 200 employees.
